Well, you could just call me Gaz..... ;)
I currently own a Volkswagen T25, and 2 days ago i bought a '84 Bedford CF diesel from a well known auction site. The van has been used for the last decade or so for travelling around music festivals, and has been 'done out' as a live in vehicle, and has a wacky paint job!!
Needless to say, if this is a nutters club, then i may not have too many problems fitting in.... 8}

Awsome. I saw that old bus on ebay. You have a fair bit of work by the looks of it, but a great base for a project. what was she originally? I don't recognise the body?

I'm really not sure what the body is, it does say somewhere, i think there are 2 possibilities, Luton or Horse Box.
Chassis looks sound, i drove it 350 miles home, the only MOT issues that i am really concerned about is the emissions (2.3 diesel) and the brakes are laughable, you really need a strong leg!
The bodywork is not going to present too many problems, the cab will be the main issue, but, not MOT fail as far as i know.
It did'nt cost a lot of money, and, it makes me happy to drive it, even though it is mega loud and very very slow!

The top of the screen where it meets grp has already gone, i am looking at ways to remedy it without resorting to a cut panel.
Also, the wheel arch jobbies under the floor are ropey too...!!
And yes, it has a woodburner in it, bed/table and full kitchen. Ply lined bulkhead with door, really cosy!!

My friend is used to welding scrap vw campers back to life again for a day to day living, but, even he always seeks input first, if you were taking on the job, and you did not fancy removing the luton, how would you go about it? :?
