 Hello All and What Must I Look Out For?
Posted by Anonymous on Thu 03 Jul 2014 @ 12:58.

Hello Everyone,

I'm heavily into Classics of all kinds, I own a 1965 Triumph TR4 and a 1971 Rover P6 (2000 TC) the latter bought brand new by my Grandad when I was 3 :)
{I'll add photos later if you'd like to see them}

Now I want to enhance the fleet and I am looking for a Bedford CF Motorhome/Camper to take on holidays around Europe in the summer months.

So ... I'm used to looking for rust, but where are the hot spots on the Bedford CF?

Also, the motorhome variety are built with wooden frames which can (I'm sure) hide a wealth of hidden rot. So what are the tell tale signs?

I would appreciate your help both in searching for a suitable vehicle (cash waiting) in very good/excellent condition and if you could post your experiences in rot of various kinds, where to prod and poke while inspecting etc.

Please feel free to add photos ...

Cheers,
Brian.
