Another transit

Well after selling my transit camper i tried to get another beddy, but nothing available at time & i needed another vehicle.
So i got another transit.
1993 mk 4 tourneo executive, genuine 48000 miles, very slight rust on i wheel arch and front door.
I year mot with it.
Rear seats have been removed so it is van with windows.
Has power steering,rear wash/wipe,heated windscreen,headlight washers.
2.0 litre petrol so i can use it in lez next year.

Researching cheap lpg conversion is next on list tho.

Only trouble is that its only about 5' headroom so would have to sort some sort of high top.
On the good side,i have just been offered original equipment central locking, electric windows & mirrors for it.

That tailgate looks like a useful feature for a camper- fabric drop-down walls and a zippable curtain could be a handy feature in the summer! You could also add lights at the bottom of the tailgate to light your 'instant awning'.

Worth making an offer?

:o shes a rare beasty now mike , great looking mk4 loveing them seats ford shouldnt have done away with the darker grey and blue pipeing best IMO ,
seen one of these years ago getting chopped with the gas ax and made me sick cos it looked stunning,

that pop top from teh bay wouldnt fit and would be a bit narrow, would ne a shed load of work to convert it to a transit roof cos the bays is curved,

put a wanted add on FTF for a hitop swb roof, one of the guys on scottish vanners has done it with a semi high top http://scottishvanners.50.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=276
