Hi All. I thought i had better introduce myself,My name is brian and i have been lurking around the site for a couple of weeks now,Had some sterling help already(Thanks Fellas).I come form just outside kilmarnock in ayrshire and Found a 1979 cf1 in a barn a couple of months ago<Bought it three weeks ago and m.o.t`d it yesterday,insured it today and she will be on the road next week .I am one very happy camper.My next move is to sign on here full time,if i can figure out how lol.I hope we get a summer this year to get some miles in.Realy looking forward to it.

There is a chap who lives about 4 miles from me has a 2.3 slant.When he seen mine outside he came to the door asking if i knew where he could get a water pump.He said he had been thinking about scrapping his as they were so rare.After a natter and assurance that it is far from dead he said he had no idea so many of them were still on the road.Hopefully i can convince him to keep it. ---------------------- |
