Introduction

Hi have been into Classic Minis for a long time and have recently bought a CF250 campervan. this is a great site and I've found out lots of info to help me out with the restoration of my van. I am not a mechanic but I can strip down and rebuild engines - old ones - I can weld but luckily my van has very little rust. Hope to be a happy camper when van has been fully restored.

so far

I took the van for a run today drove 2 miles and stopped for petrol and seen oil on floor not much. well old vehicles do bleed don't thay. carried on and lost power automatic box was slipping pulled over and checked oil dry topped up with oil, always carry spare with me. whent fine for 1/2 mile and lost power again well cut story short got van home but cost me 10Litres of oil.
parked up and oil pouring out on the road. Look like I need to take box out and see if I can get another box.
