Joined the club, just need the Bedford now....

Hello Everyone,

My name is Elin and I've just caught the Bedford bug. I am not an owner (yet), I have spied a 1973 Bedford CF and am seriously contemplating purchasing her...I've fallen in love!

I've been checking out other posts about what to look for, my problem is that I'm not technically minded, which might turn out to be a problem...

Does anyone have any stories to share about buying their Bedfords? I'd love to hear them.

Thanks and Hello!

Hi Richard and Judith

Thanks for your reply, and the positive comment!

I've just posted in the Q section, as per your advice Alex Mac (http://www.bedfordcf.co.uk/mboard/thread.php?id=11952) asking some Landcruisers to give me their pros and cons.

I'm enjoying being a member already!

...just got to get my Bedford!

Don't worry about not having any technical ability. I have none either, and I've been driving mine for two years with very little in the way of trouble.

I've made a few mistakes here and there, and had a few moments of frustration, but actually, the vans are pretty solid and cheap to take to a good honest mechanic if and when they do need some specialist attention.
