New to CF ownership!

Hi there

Just got myself a 1980 Autosleeper and took it for its MOT!

Lots of welding to do is main concern (various Suspension Spring Mount prescribed areas are 'excessively corroded').

I am in Bristol and in need of a good welder who is willing to do a decent job for cash - any ideas anyone?

I so much want to restore this beautiful van to her former glory and take my kids on many adventures!!

Please help!!

If you have spare time its a good thing to buy your own MIG welder and do it yourself, You can get a clarke gas MIG from about £200, an auto-mask and grinder some wire and gas will be about £80.

This might seem a lot but its worth its weight in gold (and welders are HEAVY)

Hi Paul and welcome to the best Bedford site on the net.
Welding can be costly so as Suterman I think you buy a welder and have a go I did and can weld now.
