One buddy looking for a Beddy...

Hi!
I'm Thomas, and i live in France, in the east suburb of Paris.
So, sorry if my english isn't perfect...
I'm 34 y old.
I just have finished the restoration of a Citroen Ami 8 break (my avatar's photo), if we could say that it could be finished one day...

I come on this forum because I'm now looking for a van or a camper van CF1. The english models (Trailblazer, Dormobile) are simply very beautyful. And moreover, the vans we could find in UK are in better condition than those whom we can find in France. You well know how to keep them nice !

My parents had in the 80's a CF1 motorhome 5 berth, I have really lot of good memories of holidays.

Looking forward to reading to you.
Bye !
Thomas

Nice car.

Hi Thomas_ami8,

Its a shame you are not looking for a MK2 facelift Pioneer but the MK1 was a better looking motor and there is a lot of them around over here.
But be very careful to have it looked over before you buy, get lots of pictures inside and underneath be fore you even travel to view it.

Doug.

Thanks Doug.
I know that pictures "make" the body better than what it's really...
I prefer the round forms of the MK1 and its dashboard like a box.

Thanks Richard (or Judith).
Sure I'm registred in the 3 forums about Bedford.
In UK the vans look better than in France ( in the ads for the moment).

We use it every day as it's our only vehicle but we sleep in it at least once a week as we visit our son in another town.

It's a 1974 Bedouin built by CI Motorhomes of Dorset.A little bit more info can be found on the brochures page here.

I have just read the short brochure, but no pics.
Do you have some of the inside ? I'm curious to see how it is fitted out.

Welcome. The car looks great. I would love a Citroen DS one day. Good luck with the hunt for a Bedford!

Tee hee. Nope, not that sort, the sort you can fix with a hammer, like a Bedford.
