Hello

hello all I have just become a member after purchasing my Bedford on ebay the other night. haven't seen her yet took pot luck crossing my fingers and toes that I haven't been lied to and there is some metal left on her. Only three more sleeps before we get to meet and asses the damage. So exiting misses thinks I'm mad but she will see. Great website by the way.
I don't seem to be able to find much info (well none really) about Canterbury conversions which is what mine is could anybody point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Welcome!

Hello, you have come to the right place for help and advice. There may well be someone here that has some info tucked away. The van doesn't look too bad in the photos so you may well have got a bargain. Good luck!

Best of luck. It's difficult if you can't get to see the vehicle first. I did the same thing and fortunately mine turned out way better than I could hoped for.
Hope yours goes the same way & welcome on board.

I agree- I bought mine when it had only been on ebay for 3 minutes. If youre gonna have an adventure, be bold! Youll find things that need doing anyway but finding out about it adds to the excitement!
Welcome to the club!

We Got her home today and i am fairly happy in the rust depatment and very happy overall. Inside needs gutting which i knew and isn't a problem. Outside is solid apart from the cab steps and gutter above front doors and rear wheel arches other than that boby is good bar a few patches of surface rust. I am however suprised to find rust inside but ill find out to what extent tomorrow when myself and the kids rip the inside out. I have been looking again at canterbury conversions but come up with nothing other than a fellow called steve litchfield who wrote a piece for motor home monthly about a van he lived in for 2 1/2 years in 1986. (BF canterbury sunhome) turns out his van is my van. so the only bedford cf canterbury sunhome i can find any referance to is mine. does anybody else on here have one or am i a freak.
