So our CF had its 1st breakdown after about 6 months of owning it. And getting him off ebay for £700! bargin im told! It's been In a garage three months and has had a ton of work done on it! £1900 worth of work

We had a shock as we only budgeted for 800 but the mechanic went on with the full list! Ouch! Oh we'll at least we get our beddie back this week. Hopefully spick and span and ready to roll. This is the first time we've ever owned a vintage vehicle! He is just soo flipping awesome we couldn't reuse to buy him. Hopefully he'll be set for many many more adventures now. Niggling questions we have as newbies to this game is whether a whole new engine would have been better in life on him and cost. We had starter motor, carburettor, indicators, brake shoes, engine mount, timing belt, speedo and a few more things. Hopefully we haven't been totally taken for a ride. Time will tell.. We need to learn how to preserve all this work now so will be on here a ton!
