Should be an interesting project, don't forget to take pictures on the way.
At least we'll know where to come when we break down too!

Hi and welcome to the site
As Graham said, don't forget to take lots of photos. It'll be an interesting conversion. What gearbox/back axle are you going to use?

hi
thanks for the welcome
the engine and box will be from the jaguar xj40 as i love those engines and im getting lazy so auto is the way for ease of install thats all going to be connected to the original twin wheel axle as i really dont need much top end just more torque and the ability to be able to park it up for months and have it start straight away when i come to need it (ive had issues ill put it that way)
its probably going to be a long term project as i do work some odd hours but i will indeed take alot of photos along the way
im thinking more along the lines of mid mounted to give me enough space to run a big rad and some air tanks up front plus an extra ballast box to keep the nose end in check
wish me luck
kind regards
eddie

Well, that sounds like an unusual conversion! As far as I know it would be the first members mid mounted engine conversion. Best of luck and I'm looking forward to seeing the photos
