engine removal

can someone help. we are taking the engine out of my 350 cf and found that we can't remove the front bottom valance as it is welded to the front wings. looking at it, it looks like it has always been like it as if from new. if this is the case how do you get the engine out. is there enough room to take the engine out with the valance in place or do you have to cut the valance out. please advise as soon as possible as we are stuck

Believe it or not, thats how I got the V8 in mine, just slid it in at an angle over the front panel.
