Hello - new CF owner here

Hi guys, just bought my first van which happens to be a CF utopian.

Bought it as a bit of a project, it needs welding but I can weld so that's no problem, not so hot at mechanics though so I'm sure I'll be picking your brains!

Couple of pictures!

it runs alright, I'm going to put it in for an MOT just to see what does need doing and hopefully crack on before the summer

Hi Mr Chicken or can I call you Banter ?
Welcome to the site and it's nice to see another Welsh CF I'll give you a wave as I drive past Swansea in the morning.

you can do either, or dave

It's been in wales for a long time actually, I've just shifted it about 30 miles towards the coast, I picked it up last week from Tonypandy!

had the first free day today to look it over, seems to need a few new window seals, and the lock barrel is battered on the drivers side so can't open it from outside

very simple Q you might be able to help me with while I've got your attention, how the hell can I open the bonnet!? couldn't see a latch inside or anything

Bonnet is simple. Look between the 'D' and the 'F' on the grill. You'll see a lever. Just push it to the right and the bonnet should open

If it was in Tonypandy it was just up the road from me. Can't say I've seen it around though.
