Out of touch.
Hi to all,
I seem to be getting out of touch with the garage trade, I thought all I needed to do was take my piece of steel round bar out to a garage guy I have known for about thirty years and get it heated with his gas welding plant and then bent into shape.
Only to find that they no longer have a gas welding plant, it seems they no longer have any use for such an antiquated piece of equipment, so I have had to use an older means to get around my problem.
By drilling a hole through one rod of steel and pressing another in at right-angles and then welding over the joint, worked a treat job done!
