Gas and Valves.

My 2.3 Slant had a Gas conversion years ago, under an earlier owner.
The firm is no longer trading.

When these earlier gas conversions were done, would they automatically change the Valves / seats as part of the Job? I don't really want to take the head off to have a look !

Changed.

Hi Pete,

If they were doing the job properly yes because the harder valves would stand the hotter running temp, if as you say it was done sometime ago and all is well a compression test should give you peace of mind.
