Finally got it right. Hi to all,The mixture on the tractor that is with it running long enough to get the settings adjusted, mechanical fuel working but not pushing through enough fuel so the SU electric pump has had to be used to keep up the flow and pressure up to the required level. Most likely a worn lob on the camshaft is the problem due to age, 1950 was a long time ago and that is when it was new from the factory in Ipswich so no shame to it. doujoy | Fri 15 May 2020 @ 15:28 |

Fuel leaking into sump oil. Hi to all,Mechanical fuel pump leakage into sump oil so made a switch to an electric SU pump, no more leaks so got to try and find a diaphragm to repair and refit. doujoy | Thu 13 Aug 2020 @ 16:15 |

Ransome tractor. Hi to all,Well my tractor has been pulled out of water for the second time, this time it was flood water because of a choked water way round behind my house. The thunder storm put down a months rain in about five hours, spent some time today drying it out and trying to get it to start, but so far no luck. Maybe it will have dried out enough by tomorrow. doujoy | Fri 14 Aug 2020 @ 20:29 |
