Skoda promlems.

Hi to all,

The Skoda owners site razed two main causes of the fault, flashing coil light and limp-mode, the most common being the EGR recycling valve, but with this replaced the fault is still there causing a return to limp-mode.
After more testing the lack of boost fault came up with another fault-code 000665 which is an electrical fault which stops the activator from opening the waste-gate and allowing boost to kick-in around 40 to 50 MPH.
The cost of the EGR valve £208.00 and the part now ordered at a cost of £56.00 and a heck of a lot of time gaining access to the turbo, and so the fun goes on.

Skoda.Hi to all,

Hi to all,

Finally got that Skoda back up and running after replacing the ERG valve and the turbo waste gate actuator due to an electrical fault causing loss of boast, glad to see that one driving off.

diagnostic

Hi to all,

To work on the collection of family cars I have invested in a Launch diagnostic computer which is able to work on 48 makes and models which cuts down on time and cost, a diagnostic check can cost from fifty to seventy pounds and then then you still have the parts and labour to pay for, this way I can just buy the parts I need to do the repair.
