nice to be back

well after about 8 months im back, and its nice to see even more names than last time i logged on, what have i been up to, apart from redecorating the house from top to bottom, going on as many custom shows as i could handle, redecorating the house from top to bottom, no not a typing error, the wife did not like the colour. getting new uniforms for the kids which was a trip in itself, and fixing some new things to the beddy, apart from that i aint done much.. then all that work only to find out the camshaft has gone in the engine. but very lucky to pick one up on e-bay, brand new £48+7pp. so a nice little job for the coming months, freezing my t**s off in the dark. i did manage to e-mail allan, and was nice to hear hes in the best off health. also bumped into wizard in telford, there we were chatting for about half an hour, and none of us new who the other was,but was nice to meet him anyhow. well not much more to say except LOOK OUT boy racers when the cams done round 2... davo

TV programme

bdmrvc.....The programme your daughter may have seen could be " Men & Motors" on Sky.
We found it by channel hopping one Friday evening, lo & behold a whole section for campers & caravans...then watched it for the new 4 weeks.
Real interesting stuff..& we learnt quite a bit being VIRGINS etc. We hope to be on the road by next April with "Bunty Bedford" !!!!...our 340, who is have the full works makeover !!!!
REGARDS Rod & Di PARKER.

Hi Davo

I've seen bits of pimp my ride. They go a little bit OTT for my liking. I'm not sure if installing goldfish tanks in a car is a good idea :/
It's about time I saw that van of yours on the road. - after all you are only a few miles from me and even closer to where I work - until it shuts at Xmas

Hi Davo

I work at South Wales Transformers (bottom of the bypass to roundabout, 1st left, 1st right (towards candle works) and 1st left again). It's closing as FKI, the owners, want to transfer all production to it's Loughborough site. All the machinery has been sold to a firm in abu dhabi Looks like Switchgear will be staying at the site for a few more years though.

Hi Davo

The only people I know from Switchgear are Malcom & Stewart from maintenance. Up until a few weeks ago I was night shift at Transformers so never got to wonder around Switchgear.
