Hello fellow bedheads

I am the proud owner of a 1978 Bedford Autosleeper CF 250 coachbuilt. This has been in my family since new. I have only recently come to appreciate the condition of the vehicle after having been to a number of historic vehicle rallies and having strangers coming to pass positive comments. My late Father (for whom it was his pride and joy) was obsessive with paperwork and kept all receipts and MOT's but also correspondence with Autosleepers regarding vehicle colours, various queries and also technical drawings of the side framework. This was used for locating suitable fixings for awning rails. If anyone has a similar vehicle and needs this info please let me know. Hope to post some pictures when I have finished polishing.(Oooh my poor arms)

plenty of info available thru search for past discussions. if you can't find it just ask.
you can locate yourself on the map by going to general and you can get back copies of the mag..members area

Thanks for the welcome, everybody. I will try and post photos asap.
Unfortunately I can't make the Bedford gathering this year due to holiday elsewhere.
Maurice you can see an example of the Autosleeper (Auto-sleeper?) in the CF History page on the site. See, I'm already finding my way round the site!!

Wullie I did speak to someone at Pickering but I thought he was from West Yorkshire, his told me his CF was off the road at moment. He had also done a diesel conversion. My reg begins BLG. I only saw one motorhome being exhibited (I was only camping).

Gethin thanks for the info on Blackpool, I will give it some thought, presume info is on the site somewhere?

Sorry Wullie, if you'd said it was your grandson who made himself at home under my awning i'd have remembered earlier!! But then I thought he was your SON! - Looking good Wullie!
My God you were a long way from home, I guess the Adrian Bailey reference made me think you were from West Yorkshire.
Anyway, nice make to make contact again. Wonderful thing t'Internet?

Roi, not sure about Cyril the squirrel but would i know him if i met him?
