Bugger it! Not sure if I can make it now. Will be starting a new job in a couple of weeks and have already been told start of May is out of the question but not sure about the end. Depends what part of the country I'll be in and if I can get time off and get home then to meet, then home and back to work (wherever it may be that week) in time. Let's just say at the moment I doubt if I can make it

At the Easter Meet it was agreed that Broad Oak would be better for an Easter meet in 2008 as many could not make the late may bank holiday date. But as Bob Hiller had to wait for his operation and could not make the Easter bash. I’m glad to say the operation was a success (and now he’s a man again)
Bob has booked up for the trip from Ireland to Kent so we will be at Broad Oak for a few days to be arranged 26th 27th 28th so if any other Beddies want to come down please let me know and I will let the owners know.

Sorry Roi, since the celtic tiger (EU) dropped all that money into Dublin, no one passes the Guinless factory because of the traffic jams. Advice to anyone fortunate to visit these lovely Isles--unless you are going P&O via Liverpool on the late noght sleeper, go south (M4) to Rosslare, or North to Cairnryan and Larne, because the traffic is not happy motoring in the cities.

I don't care Bob bach, I don't drink due to taking pills.
It was Andy Ross that wanted you to bring the barrel over..
my tipple is soda water [preferably with a fruit juice but more often without] about 12 litres a week. much more interesting than water. non fattening and non licence threatening.

As I’ve had no replies for this Bank Holiday weekend at Broad Oak and after my last post about Easter next year, I presume that no one is that keen, Bob and myself will go up for a night or two if any other members still wish to come down, other wise we will re-schedule the meet for next year.
