HELLO FROM THE COUNT
Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated !
Good to see so many of you still going strong. The Tranny Pimpmobile has gone to meet its maker - and the wife felt sorry for me and bought me the Bedford Camper I missed so much - what a treat. However there is a problem..... I've had it a year, it's never broken down, and passed it's MOT last week with NO work required. CAN YOU GUESS WHAT THE PROBLEM WITH IT IS from that information ?:?

TOP of the class Dennis ! Yes the wife bought me a "Bedford" Bambi. I once saw one pull up at the kerb with a chap at the wheel who looked a dead ringer for Giant Haystacks the old wrestler, size and all. But when he got out of the cab he was just an ordinary bloke. It's a trick of the eye I think. When I drive down the country lanes around here, people pull over for the camper - when it's no wider than a car. Will you all forgive me? Am I still back in? I joined the Bedford Bambi Club and could not stand the lack of humour, so left. Please can I be back with you lot of genuine reprobates. It is a sort of Bedford and yes I know mine is smaller than all of yours but does size really countval lol !! I still love the CF - maybe one day... but in the meantime what harm would it do

Thanks lads -- was in the Bedford Bambi Club last year - if you wanna have a laugh go to their forum -- there are some good people there but those in control have lost the plot if they ever had it !! No sense of humour is allowed unless you follow party lines. I'd love to see Van Wizard customise a Bambi and drive it to a rally - met by screams and heart attacks lol. There is no flexibility and they believe that is strength but it is really the seeds of destruction.8)

I originally had some log in problems - then all my posts (and there were many lol) disappeared - I did query it at the time and did get a bit miffed at the reply. I was more worried about a serious heart condition at that time as I had visions of an uncertain future to deal with. However I have responded well to treatment so far...... so good  After the wife bought the Bambi, I thought I would join the Bedford Bambi Club - a big mistake for me - and have now been able to log back on here. You have been busy and all is bigger and better than before with most importantly the humour and real friendliness and intelligence of contributors still apparent. It's like leaving a Fascist Dictatorship and entering a Free Democracy. So yes, well done to those who have preserved something so valuable and fragile with the right care. Membership cards and other improvements I will have to catch up on - I expect Roi will bring me up to date in due course. And Cass - I get the feeling that though you don't have a beddy, you do have a boddy lol !
