bedford cf meet 2007

wow.. these places on the south coast are bl****dy expensive.
I have only one reply to emails so far at eastbourne area and they want £16 a unit with hook up but no extras for children and dogs
it is £12.50 a unit a night with no hook up.
I have had one quote of £19 a unit plus kids and dogs???? i pay £12 for B&B round here...
the alternative we have as possible is a farmers field in norfolk [near Wisbech] at approx £6 a night [not finalised yet.]
we can have a bonfire there and we would be alone. no hook ups but water would be available.

can I have some comments please and numbers I would need to confirm numbers by weekend and they must be firm as I will have to pay if you don't turn up. that is for the eastbourne site only. field would be come if you wish but we need a minimum of ten vans

I will go anywhere.
I know lockout will go too
and God
and Sid and sylv
lets try for a mega turn out this time guys .......
I want to meet some of the new guys and put faces to names..

If you have no van not a problem. I'm taking the trailer tent as a meet tent and that can sleep 4 one end and 2 the other......

I take it none of you ever stay at camp sites? I was paying £20+ on some sites over 2 years ago. £16 with hookup seems very reasonable to me.

£12 B&B? We went to Paignton Dec 9+10 last year for Jaynes 40th (left the kids and dog behind). £50 per night for the room was the cheapest we could get

Very rare colin unless it a ccc holiday site or a small certified one never pay more than £5/6 max, other wise the van would hardly get out

so far this one at eastbourne is the cheapest..
unbelievably
I have been quoted £15 [no hook up] to £20 plus kids dogs etc.#
and all insist that every unit is booked in for the full 3 nights

my vote will be for the Norfolk site if that is ok with you lot which also means that you don't need to book in for the 3 nights or even 2.

just roll up which is the way we usually do it.

I can't believe it's so expensive. I have never paid more that £15 for a night and that was at Swansea when we had no alternative and a f**** huge trailer tent.

can I have some numbers please of who will be going

you have very expensive tastes God bach.
I paid less than that for the 3 of us and the dog at a few places the last 3 months.
most expensive was £45 at a travelodge with no brek.
even hotels in Rhyl wouldn't dare charge £50 a night for a single B&B

Norfolk is out for me. It's too far to go with the little monster. He's not a great traveler. Just ask my wife how many times he was sick over her on the way to Scotland

Ok so we have a choice
eastbourne at £16 a nite with hook up or 12.50 a nite without.
orchard view at Sutton st edmunds lincolnshire at £7.00 with hook up or £4.50 a nite without hook up

I need to know numbers and names by sunday pm to book either

THERE IS A BANGER RACE MEET near THE LINCS ONE but banger racer is not racing. he will be there of course.. and he has only 15 places so we are limited to 15 there. but it is a proper campsite so has toilets etc.

I will turn up to either so it's now up to you lot..

Hi Maurice.
All the best to you and your family.
A banger race is a lot off nut heads fixing old cars and vans and then run round on a race track and smash them up the one that is left on the race track that can still move is the winner.Hope that will let you know what is a banger race good fun to watch, you will injoy it.
