the banger racing is on the good friday so anyone wanting to be going to that needs to be on site early friday. more details on monday after i have spoken to the orrganiser. i'm trying to get us a group discount. how many will be able /want to go???? ---------------------- |

Hi Roy What do you mean excacly by "early"? If it's 14:00 then I can make it I think, assuming that I live Canterbury (where I will abuse the hospitality of Andy) early (say 09:00) in the morning. It's only 150 miles to drive II suppose... :* ---------------------- |

ok so now we have a problem the meet is on the Friday and starts at 1 pm so that would rule it out for most of us who would be travelling that day. however Mr Ron [the man wot runs it] has come up with a suggestion we could meet there and then go on to the site the following day [about 40 miles] that would mean that we still have to pay for the rally site for the night[coz it's booked] but would get free camping at the track and we would get to see the bangers.. you could turn up any time after the meet starts and still get in and meet up with the rest of us. there would be no facilities there tho so any of us without loos would have to use those that do have.. not a prob as far as i'm concerned. anybody can pee in my bucket.. any one interested ---------------------- |

Hi Roi Personaly, I would rather stick to the calm of the rally site after 1000 NMiles. So I'll go direct to Sutton St Edmund and wait for you Bangers

Ollie the Wonderdog says can we please go straight to the campsite on the Friday, so that's what we'll do. Maybe we can do some banger racing of our own - we'll bring some special pork and garlic, ---------------------- |

hi solarjohn im leaving thursday to and was going to free camp somewhere as it looks like everyone is heading there friday but if there is going to be someone else there to ill join you thursday night. maybe an ale or two. i have to leave on sat morning so id like to have two days up there. it'll be nice to meet anyone that turns up on the thursday. |

That will not be possible for me since I cross the channel - Oostende-Ramsgate - Dep.13:30 in Oostende. I will be in Rasmgate on 17:00 or 18:00 I've got few chances to make it the same day for wisbech. I will spend the thursday nigth in Canterburry on Andy's car park (thanks to him) ---------------------- |

Exact location Following the above message, I would apreciate someone to direct me to the exact location for the camp site.Are the coordinates given by Roi at the beginning correct? On which road is it? What is the best way to reach the camp coming from Canterbury through Cambridge ? Please help me guys :C ---------------------- |

Does this help Maurice? From the A1 at Peterborough,take the A47 towards Wisbech Turn left opposite Guyhirn Little Chef towards Murrow and Parson Drove Through both villages. Over Clough Bridge (old stone double bridge) into Lincolnshire,take 2nd right into Broadgate, Site is .75mile on the right.
