From VW to CF...

Thought it was about time to say HELLO.
after many years of VWs i thought i'd make life easy and buy a CF..
How little did i know:? three months later and a lot of blood lost,
one 1982 CF1 MK2 coachbuilt with full mot back on the road;] and now to catch up on what is left of summer..great site found many answers just reading through the topics of others..so thank you all..

Hi & welcome from Haslingden.

1982 is what's called the 'facelift' model: CF2 front panels & radiator but the rest is CF1.

Is yours petrol or diesel?

Cheers Phil,
It's a 2.3 GM Diesel, engine fine just a bit nervous on gear box though, mind you go's over haslingden/ accy bypass at 35....

If that's 35 up the climb from the M65 then it's not doing so bad for a diesel CF camper.
