New member, 1st CF

Good evening one and all.
Just got myself a 1976 CF1.Think it is an Autosleeper but not 100% sure. Needs a bit of TLC inside but runs ok, already had a weekend away in Pitlochry.
Look forward to chatting with you guys, please put up with me asking lots ( and lots ) of silly questions. First time I have taken on a project like this. First time back in a CF for about 30 years when my dad had one for work and brought back many memories:D

Hi ally

Welcome to the forum, nice to see another scot.....
I too have memories of going up to Grannies Heilin Hame in a bedford for a camping holiday when I was around 9yrs.
I bought a 1981 CF 350 and its been in garage for about 3 weeks now should be ready tomorrow, cost for repares £1600....gulp, but since I can't do repairs myself I guess if you can saves heaps of money. Goodluck with your project and maybe see you on the road.

Margaret

Well Hi Jock.

Hi, from Doug in Perth,

Welcome aboard, I knew you were a Jock when I seen 1314 being used, I am just up the road from you, four weeks ago I was sitting at Dunfermline junction with my Bedford CF broken down, just bringing it home that night from Livingston.
People tell such lies when they sell you motors don't they, but I am an old mechanic so I had a back up plan, my son was following me up with supplies of fuel water oil and tow rope.

Regards, Doug.
