Just wobbled in  and I would like to say a huge, huge thank you to you all. I was overwhelmed by the friendliness of everyone and you are all great  Thank you to those who traveled quite a distance and to everyone who took time out to come. The children playing together was priceless, CF-UK spelled out in glow sticks (thank you to Graham) was just ace and thank you to Phil and Rochelle for all their hardwork facilitating the BBQ and to Graham for donating it and making the quiz. There was such a great atmosphere all weekend. I feel like I've made some wonderful new friends; as have the children and I hope to see you all again very soon. I'll post some photos when I get chance. Hope you all had a safe, uneventful journey home. Can't believe I'm the casualty of this meet lol

Well done, Jane! A big thanks for all your efforts from Viv & me, definitely one to keep in the calendar for future years! Good luck getting the bits you need to get the Mystery Machine back in fine fettle! It was great to meet old an new friends, young and less young and see such cheerfulness all round- some great ideas came out too, so will act on that soon. Ive decided that I will make up a trunk for the BBQ that will double up as a table, all with CF-UK brandished across it- and make it easier for me to secure in Moby. Ill get it done before Pickering! Ill pop some photos up when I have got scrubbed up. ---------------------- |

Here's the glow sticks,spelling out cf uk.Unfortunately they didn't show up so well without the flash so I've mocked up how it would have looked.

Hi there Jane well done to you for arranging the weekend. We had a great time,even though we only came for the one night. It was good to put a few faces to the names on here. The location was delightful and we are planning a repeat visit later in the year,this time we will remember to pack jeans and coats! Sadly though this will probably not be in the pop top as we have decided that she will have to go and will be replaced with a high top. Look forward to seeing you all again. Thanks very much for organising this Jane, the kids and I had a great weekend. Wasn't quite sure what to expect as this was our first CF-UK meet, but everyone was so friendly and helpful - thank you all! Now I need to work on staying awake after 9PM to enjoy the nightlife as well! Really good to meet you all. I hope the mystery machine is back on the road very soon. Neil |

thanks scooby for the welcome when we popped in on sunday, nice to meet a few people and see some vans (and scrutinize how all our problem areas have been dealt with by others!). a nice venue with lots of space for a few more vans 
(i did snap a few piccies on our wandering but doesnt add much more to those already posted) |
