Campsite in Pembrokeshire This summer i'm going to head from ireland across the ferry to fishguard or pembroke. I then am heading to near chichester (where my wife is from). My plan was to spend 5 or 6 days in pembrokeshire or near there. Does any one have recommendations for a campsite for a couple and 8 year old daughter around there? Beach would be good as we are into body boarding, fishing, snorkelling, but good for cycling with some horse riding nearby. (not looking for much eh??).Some place that won't turn up their nose at a hand painted converted CF2 ambulance and don't mind barbie and beers at the end of a hard days holiday. Bike racks will have signs and be lit up like a chriustmas tree for the trip!!! Any personal experiences greatfully appreciated? Micheal ---------------------- | Tue 25 Jan 2011 @ 14:39 |

There's a good site in Fishguard it self, We use to go there a lot years back but cant remember it name. All i remember is fishing off the brake water and an all mighty thunder storm came, lightning was dancing all around us. went straight back to site soaked but laughing ---------------------- | Tue 25 Jan 2011 @ 14:51 |

Had a fantastic time cycling surfing swimming and generally chilling out. A fantastic campsite better than any I've been to in Ireland. http://caerfaibay.co.uk/ Good trip to West sussex to see the in laws. Clocked over 800 miles Theres now over 27000 miles on the clock) on the CF2 and didn't misss a beat. only saw one other CF and that was a CF1 heading for south wales on the 6/07 I think | Thu 21 Jul 2011 @ 17:49 |

Just back from Pembrokeshire- Id reccommend Whitesands camping, right on the beach at Whitesands, nr St Davids. Its an awesome beach and the campsite is quite cheap (£5 per adult, £2.50 for kids, £3 electric hookup. Meadow Farm, Tenby has cracking views, again with an excellent beach in walking (steep) distance. ---------------------- | Sun 24 Jul 2011 @ 19:14 |
